A small, free-standing cottage in Selva di Santa Fiora located 9 km from Santa Fiora, one of the most beautiful villages of the region. It has a neat, well-maintained garden (ca. 1000 m²) with plenty of trees offering fruit as well as convenient shade. In front of the house there is a spacious, roofed-over terrace with tasteful seating-accommodation. The outside kitchen including oven, wood stove, barbecue and fridge underneath the collateral canopy is ideal for cooking and eating outside during warm summer nights. A small path through the garden leads to a sunny terrace with sunloungers and a large parasol.

From the upper bedroom one can see the ocean on clear days. While located in quiet surroundings, a bar, a restaurant, a post office, a small supermarket and a butcher can easily be reached by foot. Beautiful hiking trails invite for exploring the region during extensive walks. Trips to Pitigliano, Sorano, Saturnia with its mineral springs and Sovana offer themselves by their proximity. Santa Fiora not only provides for excellent shopping facilities in the picturesque Old Town but also a cosy, family-run restaurant that has been awarded a Michelin star.

Every year, from July 19th to September 5th the “Festival Internazionale” for classical music – “concerti e masterclass” - takes place in and around Santa Fiora offering several concerts. August 16th is the day of “Fiera” with a brisk market.
