Shopping facilities can be found in Santa Fiora, one of the most beautiful historical villages of the region around Monte Amiata. A trip to town is also worthwhile for having dinner at Barilotto – a family-run restaurant that has been awarded a Michelin star.
Every year, from July 19th to September 5th the “Festival Internazionale” for classical music – “concerti e masterclass” - takes place in and around Santa Fiora offering several concerts. August 16th is the day of “Fiera” with a brisk market.
